I don’t know if it’s simply my focused attention, but I seem to be seeing a groundswell of dire forecasts for newspapers lately. Eric Alterman in the March 31 New Yorker. This week’s blog forum at britannica.com. And now this movie, which I will be surprised to see in Spokane. Occasionally I’m asked to speak to journalism students. Increasingly, I don’t know what to tell them.
