MediaStorm announces multimedia workshops

See the MediaStorm Workshops page for details.

Prices are steep for the five-day Advanced Multimedia Reporting Workshop in New York — $3,000 to $4,500 — and room and board are not included. However, enrollment is limited to three reporters, three editors, and three observers for each workshop, so you wouldn’t be lost in a crowd. Computers will be supplied, but participants must bring their own photography, audio, and video equipment.

The Advanced Multimedia Post-Production Workshop, by comparison, costs $1,000 per day and requires you to supply your own digital assets, which you will learn how to transform into “a professional-quality, ready-for-publication multimedia story.”

If you’re not familiar with MediaStorm, check it out (man, I really wish Brian would give us a Skip Intro button!).

  1. Brian Storm says:

The original reporting workshop is actually five days.

And you can skip the animation by simply clicking on it:)

  2. Mindy says:

Thanks for the correction, Brian. I have changed it. (Man, that is my second fact error in two weeks! I’m getting careless!)

Click it? Click it! Well! Who knew? :)
