Two things I learned this weekend
(1) You can make a playlist of a selected group of videos in YouTube and then generate a custom video player (also in YouTube) to play just those videos — in any order you select. Maybe this is old news to everyone else, but it was new to me. I thought it was really cool, so I made a little tutorial about it.
(2) There’s a blog that highlights content in the Internet Archive in neat, small subject-matter bundles. For example: B horror movies from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s (watch them online); live concert recordings from the 1980s, including Toad the Wet Sprocket and Cowboy Junkies (download and enjoy); stock video footage that you can legally use.
