For Christmas 2002, Doug and I went to England. We stayed at a cottage in the countryside west of London for a week, then spent our last two nights in London. This set of photos shows the land around Gloucestershire, where we walked in rather a lot of mud. The temperatures were mild, and it never rained heavily (until we got to London, of course). We visited Stonehenge, Chepstow Castle in Wales, the Forest of Dean, and many pubs. It was a very enjoyable holiday (except we would have liked less mud).
